A good job, decent pay, a great family, and all the other things many people are happy with.
But, things have become a little static. You’re ready for a change- a new direction.
… Or, you’ve started on a different path than most people, but feel stuck taking it to the next level.
Travel & Build international travel retreats provide a new perspective on cultural relevance, immersive local experiences, and opportunities to form lasting relationships for people who are ready to take action on starting or building their social impact businesses.
We'll discuss the following:
I left my six-figure role as associate general counsel attorney at a Fortune 500 corporation to live life on my terms. I’m a wife, mother, daughter, sister, servant, lawyer, owner of multiple businesses, and real estate investor. As CEO of Where We Help, I’ve launched and managed 501(c)(3) and LLC organizations that serve the needs of those who face challenges associated with mental illness, prior incarceration, poverty, and homelessness. Those agencies include the Richmond Urban Ministry Institute (RUMI), Franklin Grove, Lenjoy Holdings, Brook Housing, Real Chances, and Glenwood Farms.
I just wrapped a year of travel to 18 countries, a significant accomplishment in part because I started from “the bottom” and never expected I’d grow up to travel the world. After a year of reflection and growth, I grew to know myself better and have an intense desire to help others do the same. Through Travel & Build’s cultural immersion opportunities, I help people have a new perspective on entrepreneurship and life by expanding their awareness of opportunities.
I was given the name “Aisha” because I came into this world fighting. Aisha means “alive” or “she who lives.” I plan to do it well- while showing my daughters through example how to live an empowered–full life, too. Through SWL and Travel & Build, I support leaders who desire to serve others, create business opportunities, and live a full life enriched by family and travel.
SHE. WHO. LIVES: Serve. Work. Live.

Travel & Build puts an emphasis on enlightening attendees with cultural immersion experiences and expanding the belief in the possibilities of the future. You’ll take all the things you learn on this trip and think about how you can apply them to social entrepreneurship endeavors along the way. There’s no other retreat with an approach like this one.
